Lokni Tariffs
FREE Tariff: 0.5 liters of still water per day.
PREMIUM Tariff: 3 liters of sparkling and still water per day across the entire Lokni network.
Yes, we want filtered water to be truly accessible to everyone. That’s why even with the FREE tariff, you can draw up to 0.5 liters of water for free every day. However, we also need to ensure the service is financially sustainable, which is why the PREMIUM tariff exists.
All LOKNI stations are located in frequented places, but unfortunately, not all of them are freely accessible to the general public. Some are located, for example, on university campuses, and to visit them, you must go through the reception or turnstile of the given institution, which is not possible for the general public in some cases.
It does not matter whether you are a student, an employee, or a casual user. The tariff conditions apply equally to everyone.
LOKNI+ Stations
LOKNI+ are stations where we have managed to secure a partner who partially covers their operation.
LOKNI+ stations are marked on the map directly in the application.
At LOKNI+ stations, you can draw up to 3 liters of filtered water daily (sparkling and still) for free, even without a PREMIUM tariff.
Water Quality
Lokni filtration removes all tastes, odors, chlorine, and chlorine by-products, as well as residues of common medicines and hormones, pesticides, and also microplastics or other particles ($> 0.2$ microns). Our UVC LED technology also eliminates bacteria and viruses.
We filter tap water. We don’t transport water in barrels, nor do we store it. We turn ordinary tap water into water of the highest quality at the moment you dispense it.
Lokni filters have a fineness of 0.2 µm. For reference, a white blood cell is 25 µm in size, and a red blood cell is 7.5 µm. Therefore, Lokni is a very fine and effective filtration system.
Magnesium and calcium are key elements for human health. Yes, Lokni filtration is designed to preserve Mg and Ca in the water.

This is very important, and we keep it in mind. Lokni filters have the most modern design and a bacteriostatic function that prevents bacterial growth. Additionally, every station features state-of-the-art UVC LED technology that eliminates bacteria and viruses. The system of automatic flushing cycles does not allow bacteria to multiply. Yes, the base water is the same for both types of drinks. The carbonation process occurs only after comprehensive filtration and UVC treatment, so sparkling water is also filtered.
Regular service is in Lokni’s DNA, which includes cleaning, flushing, sanitation, and timely replacement of filters, UV lamps, and CO2 replenishment. Our technicians regularly visit every station to ensure everything is always of top quality.
If something goes wrong, you can report it in the application. The entire Lokni network also has remote management, so we can monitor key parameters and ensure smooth operation.
Trust is crucial for the perception of water quality. The consumer should know where the water comes from, how it is treated, and that it is under sufficient control. Lokni builds this trust through transparent technology and by meeting the criteria of the National Institute of Public Health (SZÚ).
That’s true, yet a number of problems can arise in the internal plumbing systems. Contamination from pipe materials or bacterial growth due to stagnation can occur here. Large buildings can be particularly problematic, where water sits in the pipes and heats up. A significant drop in water quality can occur between the connection and the tap, which is often noticeable in its taste.

Yes, the Lokni application is necessary for dispensing free filtered water.
Lokni is intended to be a trustworthy source of great water and to provide refreshment to the greatest number of users possible. The application is a tool to ensure that no one abuses the service for excessive consumption, and thanks to it, we are able to offer the limited FREE tariff completely free of charge. In many public places, the safety function of the application is also important, ensuring that no one misuses the Lokni station for personal hygiene purposes, as happens with various drinking fountains, etc.

You only need the internet to verify your account. When operating the station, you can be offline.
